Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse-267 (2:267)
Quranic Calligraphyأَنْفِقُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا كَسَبْتُمْ
“Spend out of the lawful/wholesome things that you may have earned”
This verse makes it clear, in order to be acceptable in the eyes of Allah, charity can only be given out of wealth that has been earned lawfully and ethically.
