Surah Al-Nisa, Verse-85 (4:85)

مَنْ يَّشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً حَسَنَةً يَّكُنْ لَّهُ نَصِيْبٌ مِّنْهَا وَ مَنْ يَّشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً سَيِّئَةٍ يَّكُنْ لَّهُ كِفْلٌ مِنْهَا

“Whoso intercedes / intervene in a good cause, will have a reward thereof, and whoso intercedes / intercedes in an evil cause will bear the burden thereof”

This verse is of great significance in a society where ‘sifaarish’ is prevalent
